Music maestro Ilayaraja's wife passes away

music director Ilayaraja's wife Jeeva yesterday died following a heart attack, hospital officials said.

60-year-old Jeeva suffered a cardiac arrest following which she was rushed to the Apollo Hospital where she was declared brought dead, they said.

She is survived by Ilayaraja, sons Yuvan Shankar Raja and Karthik Raja and daughter Bhavatharini.
