Finally, Ram has spoken about why he opted out of Gautham Menon’s film.While there was a rumour that he had differences with the producer,Bellamkonda Suresh, Ram says that there were no ego clashes between him and anyone else in the film’s team. He tweeted saying, “I was really happy to be a part of Gautham Menon’s film…was more excited when he himself announced that he was doing a film with me post our 1st meet. Ihad dates for one film. Bi-lingual made it difficult & the Last minute decision of a trilingual (more time) got it clashing with my datesforndhukantePremanta.Disappointed, but we will come up with a better project later. As of now, all my energies to Endhukante Premanta He added a bit more to close the chapter, which according to him has been blown out of proportion, by adding, " No ego clashes..no drama..no “masala”…just plain Date issues.
Young and energetic hero Ram’s new flick in the direction of Gautham Menon was started today (September 5th, 2011) morning in Chennai. The film will be a bilingual film and the director will make the film simultaneously in both Telugu and Tamil versions like he did for Ye Maaya Chesave movie. In Telugu version Ram is playing the lead role and in Tamil hero Jeeva is playing the lead role, while in both the versions Samantha is playing the female lead role. For Tamil version the film is titled as "Neethane En Ponvasantham" and Telugu version film title is not yet confirmed. Apart from the direction, Gautham Menon himself is also producing the film on his own banner Photon Kathaas. Telugu version will be produced by Bellam Konda Suresh Babu. AR Rahman is scoring the music for the film.
